Committees
Government Affairs/NIBAC (Northern Illinois Business Advocacy Coalition): Track and stay abreast of current legislative issues that affect the business community and maintain ties and contacts on governmental issues, thus offering an opportunity for a voice and involvement.
CHAMPPS (Chamber Power Partners): Networking groups dedicated to building relationships and exchanging sales leads within the group. This group meets twice a month.
Executive Round Table: The Executive Roundtable (ERT) is a forum for owners and executive officers of businesses to discuss issues facing their organizations and to identify solutions and courses of action that will maximize growth and realize greater profitability for their companies. ERT members represent a broad cross section of Arlington Hts businesses including manufacturing; retail; IT services; banking; travel; legal and financial professional services; health care; marketing and market research; consulting; etc. Collectively, ERT members bring a wealth of expertise to any discussion. Members draw on each other’s experiences and that of professional outside resources, as needed. In a sense, the group serves as each other’s outside board of directors. In its almost ten years of existence, members have come to highly regard the value of the group to themselves and their businesses. This group meets the first Wednesday of the month.
Downtown Business Committee: This committee focuses on promoting civic, commercial and industrial progress for the Central region-ranging from Olive Street to Park Street.
Professional Women's Council: This group works to promote the interests of business and professional women in the Chamber. The group features a different speaker each month with lunch at a different Arlington Heights location. This group meets every third Wednesday of the month from 11:30 AM- 1:30 PM
Young Professionals "Moving up and Taking Charge" : This energetic group is made up of business minded professionals in their 20’s and 30’s. The group focuses on career and leadership development to assist in the growth and advancement of today’s young leaders. This group meets the second Tuesday of the month.
Special Events: With a very active chamber comes the opportunity to help plan several community and chamber events. This group helps plan the Annual Installation Dinner, Mane Event, Golf Outing, Chili Cook off and more.
